Our Programs
Mentorship & Life Skills
Planned mentoring that pairs students with caring adults to build leadership, resilience, and everyday life skills.

Students are planned to receive:
- A trusted adult mentor
- Leadership development
- Life skills and goal setting
- Referrals for mental and emotional support
Goal: Greater resilience, confidence, and leadership among the students we serve.
The need this program addresses
Young people facing homelessness often lack a stable adult in their lives. Without guidance, encouragement, and someone to model goal-setting, even talented students can lose confidence in their own future.
Who this program serves
Homeless and underprivileged school-age children and youth in Spartanburg County, especially those without a consistent adult support system.
Where this program stands today
Mentoring is part of the pilot program in our first-year launch plan. We are developing mentor screening, training, and matching procedures before pairing mentors with students.
Ask about eligibility or availability
Families, counselors, and youth-serving organizations can express interest through our Get Help page, and we will reach out when mentor matching begins.
Get HelpHelp make this program happen
